For The Love of Food

Welcome to Friday’s For The Love of Food, Summer Tomato’s weekly link roundup.

This week Harvard says “whole grains” aren’t always healthy, why you should eat carrot tops, and calling BS on Coke’s new ad.

Want to see all my favorite links? Be sure to follow me on on Delicious. I also share links on Twitter @summertomato,  Google+ and the Summer Tomato Facebook page. I’m very active on all these sites and would love to connect with you. (And yes, I took that pepper heart pic myself).

yeah. i saw the coca-cola commercial the other day and i couldn’t believe it.
not only it’s 180 to 650 a very low ratio, but those 180 are NOT healthy options either.

Hi Darya- just found your blog and love it! I have a lot of friends in public health (who work with people fighting to reduce soda and sugar consumption in Oakland) and there has been a lot of disgust over the original coca-cola commercial. This one is good too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myxwCEGcBYc
