For The Love of Food

Welcome to Friday’s For The Love of Food, Summer Tomato’s weekly link roundup.

Great information this week around the web, and I didn’t even need to call BS! Read about why being a foodie isn’t elitist, what scientists think about US agriculture policy, and what’s the big deal about dietary fat.

Want to see all my favorite links? Be sure to follow me on on Digg. I also share links at Twitter (@summertomato) and the Summer Tomato Facebook fan page. I’m very active on all these sites and would love to connect with you.

Nice collection of articles! I love the contrarian stuff.

The sugar/activity article is interesting. I’m a serious runner – 35-40+ miles per week (intensely, not just jogging every day) plus core/strengthening type exercises. I’m really healthy in all other areas of my diet but I cannot kick sugar. I’ve tried your method and I always fail, I wonder if it’s not just my lack of willpower but also my activity level?

What do you think?
