For the Love of Food

Welcome to Friday’s For The Love of Food, Summer Tomato’s weekly link roundup.

This week the importance of self-experimentation, the downside of treadmill desks, and how America can become locavore.

Too busy to read them all? Try this awesome free speed reading app I just discovered to read at 300+ wpm. So neat!

My advice for using more vegetables when cooking for one: eat more vegetables!

    Hi, Darya!

Thanks so much for the links, especially the one about the “keep calm” study.

Also, I love chicken salad, but I’ve had this paranoia about making mayo with raw egg. Is it really no big deal?

Finally, I love your interview and that desk looks incredible. Are you a Twin Peaks fan? Goodness, just when I thought I couldn’t love you more. =]

Vegetables are always good. They are never too much for your health.

  4. I love the treadmill desk study. “People asked to do full-body movement while doing tasks they usually do stationary are bad at it the first time they do it!” Sheesh.

What do you think?
