For The Love of Food
Welcome to Friday’s For The Love of Food, Summer Tomato’s weekly link roundup.

I’m very active on all these sites and would love to connect with you. (And yes, I took that pepper heart pic myself).

I knew fake sugar tended to have that effect on me. When I was skinny, and using Nutrasweet, I kept craving more and more.. finally looked at how much I was using and said no. I’m wondering, though, if there is more sugar, now, per ounce, in commercial sodas, than there was even in the 1980s. I suspect everything has gotten sweeter… I don’t remember things like nutella being as sweet when I was a child. (granted, I grew up abroad, so maybe there were different formulations even then).
