    Question on the statin and diabetes link. The New York Times article makes it sound like there is a clear cause and effect phenomenon here. Yet the risk of diabetes only shows up when taking high doses of statins. How is this cause and effect? What if the people on the really high doses of statins were the people with the worst health and eating habits, thus making them the people with the highest risk of developing diabetes?

  2. What about statins is good for you anyway? Right, nothing, unless you want to “check out” earlier than expected from this planet. Great post Darya.
