Healthstyle
Healthstyle was born out of my distaste for the word diet. No matter how clearly I try to describe that I am thin and healthy because of my diet but am not on a diet, that four letter word is always a source of confusion. To clarify this point and help change the way we think about and approach weight loss, I now use the word healthstyle.
Why Healthstyle?
At its most fundamental, your health is a reflection of your daily habits. In this sense, health is something that develops over time and can never be achieved through temporary changes. Your health is a direct reflection of your lifestyle, so why not describe it this way?
One of the beautiful things about approaching health from a lifestyle perspective is that there are countless ways to get where you want to go. There is room for just about anything in a healthy life, so long as you manage your indulgences with an eye on the big picture.
