The word healthstyle was born out of my distaste for the word diet. No matter how clearly I try to explain that I am thin and healthy because of my diet but am not on a diet, that four letter word is always a source of confusion. To clarify this point and help change the way we think about and approach weight loss, I now use the word healthstyle.
