Just a heads up that the link for the spit article went to the breakfast article… it was probably supposed to head to: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/20/science/saliva-bitter-tastes.html

*you don’t have to keep this comment posted if the link is corrected*

I so look forward to your links every week! I thought of this blog when I saw this article yesterday. Curious to hear your thoughts? I’m a little skeptical myself…growing up, I hated gym class, but I work out 4-5 times a week now and I love it!

One article mentions the benefits of drinking water for weight loss/maintenance (Tip 6 & 8 of “10 Simple Habits of People Who’ve Lost Weight And Have Actually Kept It Off”) and the other link says water doesn’t help with weight loss (“Two New Studies Pour Cold Water On Water’s Role In Weight Management “).

Personally, when I was losing 22 pounds, if I was hungry in between meals I would take 5 large gulps of water then wait a while and see if I was still hungry afterward. It usually dampened my appetite.

Anyone else reading have weight loss success with water?

I think there’s not a single fix method for each person to do a diet. It’s based on how one’s body/ metabolism works
