This weekly show is on a Canadian radio station and some of the shows concern Canadian food issues, but many of them are about issues that concern all of us: http://www.cjly.net/deconstructingdinner/index.html. There are also a handful of U.S. stations that pick it up, mostly college and community ones.

You're quite welcome. But if you're interested, many sites have legit archives of her show's podcasts, including her former station's site: http://www.kfi640.com/podcast/SUNDAY.xml (There are other health sites that have deeper archives as well.)

I don't really watch the biggest loser, but the mere fact that it brings more awareness to health/weight loss does more good than bad, right?

What's it called? I haven't heard of it. Also I think the Biggest Loser is barbaric.

You totally left out the radio show by renowned diet coach and nutritionist Jillian Michaels. Granted, her internet adds are totally cheesy and she is a bit of a sensationalist, but on the radio she is surprisingly human and very understanding; she also gives easy to understand explanations of nutrition science. Highly recommended!
