Thanks Kellie! Certainly let me know if you have any questions too. If you want more to read on cholesterol, Good Calories, Bad Calories is really eye-opening.

Wow. So glad I found your blog. Some of your posts cover topics I spend hours talking about with friends! Especially interesting to me in this post are the cholesterol articles. As a young-ish woman who does eat healthily and exercises pretty regularly, I was surprised to learn that my "borderline high" cholesterol was of concern a few months ago. And it really got me wondering, is it a problem? I'm thinking not... but I hadn't looked into it much. I look forward to reading those articles.

Thanks for the info!

Ha ha, I don't blame you. Luckily there won't be anything published there that isn't published here first. But hopefully with the bigger audience I can help more people upgrade their healthstyle :)

Darya,
Congratulations on the Huffington Post slot. Okay, I'll admit this, I will come there to read what you write, but I'll quickly hurry away. :)

Congratulations, Darya, on the Huffington Post gig. You deserve a bigger audience.

And thanks for mentioning my piece on the low-carb Mediterranean diet for people with recent onset type 2 diabetes. You'd think that in 2009 we'd have a better handle on what constitutes the ideal "diabetic diet," but we don't. It's still hotly debated. I await full-text of a 2009 journal article comparing a vegetarian/vegan diet with the low-fat American Heart Association diet for people with type 2 diabetes. [I hear vegetarian won that fight.]
